Dr. Eduard Rappold is a physician, researcher, and entrepreneur with a long-standing interest in epigenetics, healthy aging, and preventive medicine. Following more than two decades of medical and scientific work, he founded NUGENIS GmbH in 2015 to bridge the gap between advances in epigenetic research and practical applications for health and longevity.

His work focuses on the interaction between stress biology, mitochondrial function, methylation, nutrition, and aging. He is particularly interested in how lifestyle, environmental factors, and nutrition influence gene expression and contribute to long-term health outcomes.

As founder of NUGENIS and publisher of Epigenetik.at, he is dedicated to making complex scientific concepts accessible to healthcare professionals and the general public. His current projects include research, education, and writing on epigenetics, healthy aging, and the biological foundations of resilience and well-being.
